Happy Tuesday. Did you watch the big game last night? This year, LSU was the national football champions. So that question is settled, until next August and it all starts again. Who is the best? Isn’t is great that as a child of God, we never have to ask that question? We know who reigns and we know who conquered death and the grave. There is only one who reigns supreme and only one who should take first place in our lives.

“For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings? In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; he is more awesome than all who surround him. Who is like you, Lord God Almighty? You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you...The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89:6-8, 11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I love this Psalm singing to the glories of God! Those above who can clearly see Him and his majesty praise His glory and we below who are aware of how we are so undeserving praise His faithfulness. Those in heaven sing along with those of us here to His supremacy in all things.

God's greatness and His faithfulness are the two guarantees of the fulfillment of the promise. The fact that There are non who can compare with God, this incomparability, is an aspect of His holiness. The sense of holy is apartness, that God is incomparably greater than all the things and beings He created. He is not awed because of what he has done, but rather for who He is.

“Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19:6-7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The promise fulfilled.

Lord God Almighty who reigns over all, we offer you our praise. You alone are faithful and you alone are holy. We rejoice to be one of yours and we give you glory. How great and mighty are you. Help us Lord to always be mindful of your perfect place in our lives and teach us Father to be more like you. We sometimes stumble over the silliest of things and yet, there we are. Teach us Lord to look to you rather that the things you have created. We love you and offer our worship to you this day. Come quickly Lord Jesus. Amen and amen.

Love you dear one,

Pam
