March 1–New Birth

Good Thursday morning to you! It’s a brand new month today. They sure seem to go fast in some ways, don’t they? Yesterday, I met the 24-hr-old Miss Raquel. I was excited to hold her and pray for her—to thank God for the blessing of her and ask the Almighty Father to guide her life all of her days.

I look at this new baby and I see that God’s promises are new every morning for those who love him. You know, when we are watching for God we can find Him in the everyday, the simple, and even the mundane. But every so often we are blessed and overwhelmed with something so very wonderful it simply takes our breath away and for me yesterday, it was a 9’2” beautiful baby girl. Jehovah, sometimes, you just out do yourself!

“GOD ’s loyal love couldn’t have run out, his merciful love couldn’t have dried up. They’re created new every morning. How great your faithfulness! I’m sticking with GOD (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left.” ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3:22-24‬ ‭MSG‬‬

And that tiny bundle so very innocent is exactly how God sees us after He washes us clean. All our awfulness and filth is gone and we are clean and one again innocent in His eyes. Justified fully—“just as if we had never”—don’t you love that? Nicodemus asked if we needed to once again enter into our mother’s wombs to be born again trying to figure out how to return to the state of innocence. Jesús answered him to say that God sent His only son so that if people would believe on him, they wouldn’t be punished. And just like Moses lifted up the snake, so shall the Son of Man be lifted up. “If you don’t believe it when I tell you about earthly things, how will you believe it when I tell you about heavenly things?” John 3:12 Good point, wouldn’t you say?

““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”

‭‭John‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Thank you King Jesús for you complete sacrifice so that we might be saved from judgement. Thank you for the opportunity to be made brand new and once again innocent of all wrong just like a precious baby. You are good and you are a great God! Oh how we love you our Messiah and Lord. You are the Alpha and the Omega. Praise El Elyon. Amen and amen.

Love you dear one,

Pam
